Stormy – CD by Dan Holder, Released by LarkinSong

Stormy is Dan Holder’s third Christian CD, his second with LarkinSong, with 10 original songs in multiple styles, including ballad, rock, jazz, bossa nova, and country.

With this release of “Stormy,” Dan returns to basics, singing all the vocals and playing all guitar tracks. Backed by fellow studio players, Paul Sciacca (bass) and Marqus Burleson (drums), and the sweet soulful strings of the Waworoendeng family – Alva, Emerald, and Jeremiah – Dan’s simple melodies and strong lyrics shine through.

The CD takes you on a journey, starting from a stormy life, finding the light of a new sunrise by the end. Dan has written these songs from his own personal journey. They are from the Word, and from the heart.

One of the Gospel anthems on this release is titled, “I Am Not Ashamed,” inspired by the following verse from Romans 1:16…

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth…”
